Three small modular nuclear reactors could potentially support thousands of jobs and power the equivalent of 3 million homes.

The $20 billion investment is currently being reviewed by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

The process could be deployed in areas where the supply chain is difficult to maintain.
